For those not in the know, @JPEGd_69 gives you the choice of fixed rate open term 5% loans on ETH borrows or 2% on USD. Loan-to-value is up to 70%, but liquidation is at 80%, so 50% is a good place to be — maybe more if you use the liquidation insurance option.

The moment you've been eagerly awaiting has arrived. The JPEG'd citadel is now up and running, and $JPEG rewards are flowing again! You can take advantage of this opportunity through four straightforward steps: 1. Use your NFTs to borrow pETH 2. Add liquidity in the pETH/WETH Curve pool 3. As announced previously, positions at risk of liquidation had a 24h grace period following the reboot of pETH and the pETH vaults. The grace period will end at 21:30 UTC today (22nd of August 2023), after which liquidations will be enabled again. Users with positions with a health of 0% or very close to, have until 21:29 UTC today to get their positions back at healthy levels and avoid liquidation. weenis

In accordance with PIP-74, the community has chosen option D to distribute the recovered funds from the Curve exploit that occurred on July 30th, 2023. Individuals with qualifying addresses can now claim their disbursement at:

As outlined in the PIP, a new pETH token has been introduced. The new contract address for pETH is: 0x821a278dfff762c76410264303f25bf42e195c0c. Following Curve's recommendations, two new pools have been deployed: pETH/WETH: 0x1C5F80b6B68A9E1Ef25926EeE00b5255791b996B JPEG/pETH: 0xda68f66fc0f10ee61048e70106df4bdb26baf595 pETH borrows are now live again. For a limited 24-hour period, open positions have been granted an exceptional window to repay their debt before the resumption of liquidations. We, the JPEG'd team, based on confidential discussions, formally assert that upon successful return of the funds to the JPEG'd DAO multisig: 1. Legal action will not be taken against the operator of the address 0x6Ec21d1868743a44318c3C259a6d4953F9978538 and 0x9d1ec3375252d4ab3c128f9774be266f67faa0bd. The entity controlling above addresses previously secured 6,106 WETH from the pETH/ETH pool in transaction 0xa84aa065ce61dbb1eb50ab6ae67fc31a9da50dd2c74eefd561661bfce2f1620c. Any further investigations or legal matters against the entity will end. 2. We view this occurrence as a white-hat rescue, and as a result: 0x9d1ec3375252d4ab3c128f9774be266f67faa0bd will be rewarded with 10% of the rescued fund as a white-hat bounty from the JPEG'd team, which translates to 610.6 WETH. 3. The remaining balance, amounting to 5495.4 WETH, will be directed to the JPEG'd DAO multisig at 0x51C2cEF9efa48e08557A361B52DB34061c025a1B. The JPEG'd team will compensate the white-hat bounty 610.6 WETH together with the 5495.4 WETH to the pETH/ETH pool LP holders who are suffered loss in transaction 0xa84aa065ce61dbb1eb50ab6ae67fc31a9da50dd2c74eefd561661bfce2f1620c. Once the funds are received, we will issue a public confirmation.

There was an attack on the pETH-ETH curve pool. The vault contracts allowing to borrow against NFTs are safe and still running solidly. NFTs and the treasury funds are safe. We’ll keep everyone updated as soon as we know better what is happening. We’ve been looking into the issue the moment we were made aware and are assessing the extent of the issue. The issue seems to be related to the curve pool.
